This prototype was part of a serious games research project called ‘GameHUB’. The project was a Belgian collaboration between 4 research faculties in visualisation and games. The project was designed as a serious game for 16-18 years olds for how to run a business – based in a stylised ice cream factory and salon.
I designed and created all the visual elements for the project, from concepts through to post-production and in-game implementation. This included all the 3D modelling, UV’s and texturing, rigging, animation and lighting. I completed the visual design and production in 3.5 months. The game engine used Unity 3D; the software I used was 3ds max, Photoshop, ZBrush and Topogun.
The video is an in-game demonstration of the level with some gameplay. The gallery includes several stills of my workflow and asset construction.
